I kinda feel like I blinked and it was the end of May. Last night we went to Carter's Pre-K graduation. So there is that. Although I kinda think Pre-K graduation is a little over the top, but it was super cute. They sang three songs for us and put on a cap and gown and walked across the room with their class. The slideshow made me tear up, mostly because I can remember the day he was born so vividly and easily and I am sure I will be thinking that 13 years from now. Carter has loved every bit of school this year. His teacher even shared last night that he was the reason she had 13, instead of her normal ten kids she usually has. That she knew God had brought him to her class. I love stories like that. It was a God thing, because we moved here so much later than all registrations and I am SO grateful for this year he has had in Pre-K. It was a huge turning point for him and one of the biggest reasons he loves living here.Carter also had another BIG day yesterday, in that his first tooth fell out! It was loose the day before, and he kept messing with it, but around 4 am Thursday morning he came down crying that his tooth had fallen out and he couldn't find it. I was panicking as we walked back upstairs because I am thinking he swallowed it, but thankfully we found it in his bed. Whew. The day before I had taken the kiddos to get sno cones and I was asking him what you did with teeth when they fall out. He said, "Well, the tooth fairy comes and then she builds a castle with your teeth". :) So I prompted further: "So where do you leave it for her"C: Under your pillow. (He mine as well of said duh mom)me: So does she leave you anything or just takes it from under your pillow.C: she leaves a prize. You know like a quarter.me: (thinking in my head) score. while nodding at him.It is crazy to me how much they know about things like the tooth fairy when we have never talked about that before, but I have heard people leave from 5-20 dollars for a tooth, so I am so glad he said a quarter. The tooth fairy, however did leave him two quarters because he is so cute. ;) He came running down this morning "MOM the tooth fairy came!!! I can't wait to show daddy" Bret had to go in early today so he was so excited to show Bret what he got.A few weeks ago we went to our first story time at the library. I was pretty nervous to go actually just because all three of my kids listening and sitting to a woman reading books for half and hour made me nervous, but they actually all did great! They got to play with toys after and we got our first library card and the kids all checked out books! That will be fun to go to this summer and to check books out more often! We went for Carter's five year well check and Rylie's 15 month well check this month at a new doctor in Austin. It went fairly well. Carter and Tucker got wound up for a little while and I talked to C about how I needed him to set an example for the little two. As we were walking out after the appointment, Carter said to me "Mommy I am sorry I went haywire in there on you." I could not stop laughing. Where do kids come up with stuff. I called Bret to tell him and also tell him how small all our kids are. :) Carter weighed in at 38lbs, Tucker 30, and Rylie 18 lbs and 12oz. Tiny tiny kiddos, but they all look great and are healthy and that is all that matters. So I am very thankful for that.On Mother's Day weekend we took a fun road trip to College station to see our friends Jean and Phil. We had such a great time with them, and the boys had a blast playing with Jackson. Their backyard is similar to an amusement park so they had a blast swinging, and see sawing, and playing basketball and dressing up in all Jean's finds of superhero costumes. We also went to the last home aggie baseball game which was so fun. They actually have a playground on the baseball field, so all our kiddos just played while Bret and I watched most of the game. By the sixth inning our kids were running everywhere though, so we decided to head out and hung out at Jean and Phil's the rest of the day, then went out to dinner that night before coming home. Mother's Day the kiddos took me out to lunch at Maxine's downtown which was great, then Bret cleaned up the whole house for me:) while I mowed. Then after naps we went to Austin to Chuy's and then went to a park close by and let the kiddos play in the fountains. It was a perfect Mother's Day for me being all together. Earlier that week, Carter's school had a Mother's Tea which was so fun. They sang you are my sunshine to us, then gave us a pot they painted with flowers, a fun note about us from them, a picture they painted and a mat of pictures from them! It was so very sweet. Bret kept the little two for me so I got to have that special time with Carter there. I sure am blessed by these three little ones.Last week we went to Houston for a few days to see friends and my mom for her birthday next weekend! We stayed with Amy one night and the boys stayed with my mom as well. It is such a special time for them to spend time with my mom. We had just taken my mom to dinner down by the waterway and all my kids were soaked and as soon as we got back to my mom's house she fed them two bowls of cereal and then at nine I get a text from her with a picture of them eating ice cream with sprinkles. Ha. That is exactly what time at grandparents is for. I love that they have such a special time with her when they go over them. We got to see Ana and Titus as well and Titus at 7 months def. weighs over a pound more than Rylie. :) He is such a cute and great baby. I wish we were closer to them!Tucker asked me yesterday if our baby was real. Yes, she is a real baby Tuck. He also is too smart for his own good. He told me today, "Mommy, you need to put on a show in the car for me because I need to not fall asleep in the car." He has heard me say that one too many times. He and C are so into potty words right now and it so may be the end of me. I am so over it and they are 3 and 5. I know it will only get worse. He can be so intense at moments and I just be at a loss, but he also is my most thankful child. He always says anywhere we go, "Thank you mommy for taking us here, or for his dinner, or just random things." He has such a sweet grateful heart. He wanted to "graduate" last night with Carter and was crying and saying "mommy, he is my best big brother." He is going to miss C so much next year, so I am just holding onto a summer of fun ahead with them.Rylie has all her teeth now!!! WAHOO! I am so grateful they have all broken through. She will lay in bed in the mornings and do all her sign language. She will actually say "more" now and is starting to say more and more words. I love this age when their language just starts coming out. I do not love this age and how they run off and wander every.where. She is all over the place and will just take off outside toward the park, or walk all over the store at CFA, or just run off from you at random places. Thankfully I know with the third that gets better. Rylie loves and is obsessed with shoes and bringing everyone their shoes. She loves to go places, just like the boys. My favorite is watching all them playing in the blue pool together. They slide and roll over each other and just laugh so hard. She loves to watch Bret and I mow the lawn, and she has learned how to climb up the ladder all by herself of the playground. She is very proud of herself. I can't wait to watch all of them get older together. Kids are the best. I love getting to watch them grow. This past week has been a lot of things coming to an end with Community group ending, Carter's school almost done, and we have a few weeks left in my bible study.Anthony is leaving at the store and we are very sad about that, but God always provides. I know he will take care of it all. Summer is so close. We can't wait. We have fun trips planned every month and I am just excited because summer is the best.
