Where did June go????

I really have no idea how in the world next week is already July, but is sure has flown by. We have been getting more settle here in Bastrop and stuff with the store is really taking off! Less than a month now till the store opens!

Bret and the kids made Mother's Day super special for me this year. They made these amazing profile pics of all the kids and painted them in their favorite color. I loved them. They spoiled me all day and Bret cooked me dinner that night. It was such a fun and perfect day. So grateful to be their mom:)

We love going on walks to the park in the evenings and has became a family favorite her in Bastrop. There are so many fun things about living in this area and being so close to Austin, and New Braunfels where we used to live and then only 2 hours from Houston and four to Dallas. It is such a great location for us! We have gotten to make multiple trips to New Braunfels to play up at camp and see friends there which has been so fun. We also got to go to Dallas for Bret's grandpa's 85th birthday which was a lot of fun to see all of his family.

Father's Day was such a fun and perfect day for me just because I love being able to love on Bret and ALL he does for us. The boys and I went out early to get donuts and coffee for Bret before he woke up. (Oh and a Dr. Pepper because Carter wanted him to have that:)). Then, we headed to church that morning and came home for lunch and naps. We had a special surprise for Bret that afternoon. We took him to go paddle boarding on the river. It was so much fun and we all had a great time. Then we went to a local Mexican restaurant for dinner that evening. I am so grateful for such an incredible dad for our kids who just adores them, loves the fire out of them, and teaches them so well. We really do have the best dad ever for our kids.

The World Cup has been on these past few weeks so it has been so fun to talk with my boys about all the soccer games. Every time the USA plays I paint the boys up so we can have a fun activity and cheer for the boys. It has been really fun for all of us.

In the most exciting news over these past few months, my sister got engaged a week ago! We could not be more happy for her and her fiancé Spencer. I drove down to Friendswood last week to celebrate with the family. It is looking like the wedding will be at the end of October. I am so excited for them and can't wait for the big day!

We just love our house here. It has been so great for us. We have so many visitors over these past few months. Both our families, siblings, the Coldwell's. I love every.minute of having people here and hope visitors continue to flood in all the time. It makes me so happy to have so much room to host people and have them here in our home.

The store just got all the equipment installed last week and all the landscaping was finished! It is looking so amazing. This week all the seating comes and then they will turn it over to us to get ready for the opening on the 24th! It is so exciting it is coming so soon! I can't wait for it to finally be here!

Rylie somehow is already 5 months! She is getting so big, well not really big, but squirmy would be a great word to describe her right now. Right after she turned 4 months old, she finally learned how to roll over both ways and now log rolls all over the place. You can't leave her anywhere because she will most defintely not be in the same place when you find her. She grabs anything and everything in front of her and loves to be outside with the boys. She loves to spin on her belly in circles around and around. She wants to move so badly. She has found her voice as well. She almost squawks when she is trying to talk. It is actually pretty funny. That has been pretty recently more even this past week she has just discovered that. Around four and a half months we also started her on some food. We  tried some rice cereal at first, but she wasn't too crazy about it, so we have mixed in it with some fruits and veggies. Her faves are carrots, sweet potatoes, and pears so far. She is a great eater and can destroy some food pretty quickly. The other night at dinner she even tore the tomato off my sandwich and shoved it in her mouth. We got a good laugh out of that one. The third kid is so ruined bc she has sucked on french fries, or my spoon of ice cream. We have already ruined her. She still takes about three naps everyday and sleep 12 or so hours at night. She is still long and skinny as ever and has the best face/smile explosion ever. Rylie is just like her brothers with her love for the water and those boys make her laugh all the time. It is so awesome.

Tucker right now is obsessed with the lawnmower, weed eater, and the blower. It really is the cutest thing. What is funniest about the obsession with those three things is that when Bret starts to mow, or use the blower Tucker is absolutely terrified of them. He won't even go outside when Bret is using them. He asks Bret all.day everyday if we can use them, or he himself will pull them out of the garage. He does however love to push his own little lawnmower around everywhere which is really fun.  He also loves this music video "when Im gone" that Bret got from CFA. He wants to watch it over and over and over. Tucker is also the best eater ever. As a mom and the one who cooks all the food, he sure does make me feel so good about my cooking because he downs everything we eat and never puts up a fight about it. He is so fun right now about his excitement with everything whether it be riding in the car with any of us, or going to the park, pool, or Daddy's Chick da way. His smile is the best. Some of his favorite books at night are "chicka boom boom boom"(Chicka chcika boom boom), How to Catch a pet train. He loves to read the names on the back of all the trains to you. His favorite songs are Jesus loves me, or I love you Lord. He still takes an awesome nap everyday and whenever he is tired he will still fall asleep anywhere. I sure do love that.

Carter is so our adventurous child. He just goes and never ever stops and he is always up for anything. Whether we are at a splash pad, or trying new huge slides at camp, he is always ready and up for it. He amazes me all the time with how fearless he is. At camp last week, he just went right down the slide and swam to the side, and we haven't even been swimming since last summer. Then, they had these HUGE slides in the outback and he was just going down over and over like it was nothing. It is so fun to watch him have so much fun. Everything with Carter right now is either 41 or 100. He will either say I love you 100 or 41(apparently that is a whole lot) Or he will say I slept till 41 mom. It is so funny how he refers to these numbers for so many things. We love it. Our boys fight over who gets to open the garage door right now. They think it is the most fascinating thing in the world. Carter is non stop, but he also has the sweetest spirit about him. He always wants to hold Rylie and take care of her. He will just come up behind me all the time and hug me and give me a kiss on the cheek, or tell us he loves us so much. Where Tucker will try anything and everything Carter would eat the same thing all day everyday. Right now, Granola for breakfast, PBJ and chips for lunch, and he sits at the dinner table every night for at least an hour until he eats all his food. Carter amazes us with his coordination and balance. I mean he is so agile. Its fun to see that in him. Carter is so kind in how he waves and talks with all of our neighbors. Each neighbor to the side and across the street from us, he has made friends with. Even the neighbor across the street, Tyler, he taught to ride his four wheeler on the "fast gear". They sure did have a lot of fun racing the other day.
