Thanksgiving

The week before Thanksgiving it got really cold here so we were stuck inside for a few days. We tried to make the most of it by going to indoor play places around town to get two little boys energy out:) We  also had to move out of our house for the week, so on that Tuesday before Thanksgiving we headed to a hotel and the boys LOVE hotels. Between running up and down the halls, the elevators, the free drinks and cookies, and jumping between the beds they get really really excited! Thankfully(for me) we were just there one night because we were heading to Dallas the rest of the week to spend with Bret's family.

We got to Denton on Wednesday afternoon and the boys were so excited to be at Grams and Pops house! Grams already had all new toys and such laid out for the boys so they went to town playing the rest of the evening! Bret joined us later that evening after he finished up at work as well. Thanksgiving day was LOTS of fun with lots of AMAZING food. We had Thanksgiving lunch over at Aunt Sarah's house in Gainesville and the boys were so excited to play with their cousins Jackson, Caroline and Maggie. They kids had a great time playing and going for walks outside and were so worn out by the time we left that evening! The boys stayed in Denton all weekend with Bret's parents and had a blast while Bret headed back to work and I went to New Braunfels for a much.needed girls weekend. It was a nice break for me and the boys had so much fun cooking marshmallows, hot dogs and decorating Christmas trees with Grams and Pops. I picked them up Sunday afternoon and we headed back to San Angelo to surprise daddy because we missed him so much!

Monday morning we were able to move back into our house which was great because Carter was  so excited to decorate our Christmas tree that Grams sent us! Carter was all about putting all the blue ornaments on because his favorite color is blue:) and Tucker was all about throwing the "balls" or ornaments to the tree:) It was a lot of fun and Carter got to put the star on the top of the tree as well. It was nice to get back home and get Carter back into school and all. He got his first pink eye infection, but thankfully it cleared up quickly. This week a HUGE ice storm also came in and iced over and it snowed but it was FREEZING!! So thankful some warmer weather is coming back!

I passed the 32 week mark this week in my pregnancy and had a huge scare along with it. I actually had to go into the hospital with contractions and bleeding, but thankfully this baby is still doing great and praying it will stay in there at least four more weeks. It was a pretty scary moment, but thankful for a calm husband and my two boys were also the sweetest just sitting beside me on the hospital bed and Carter telling me it would be ok over and over and that the baby would be ok. I am so thankful for Bret and our sweet boys. Much more rest over these next four weeks for me.

We are looking forward to this month with Christmas coming and celebrating Jesus' birth. Bret also has two interviews these next few weeks which is very exciting for us! We are getting so close and have so much to be thankful for.
